Francine Pascal (May 13, 1938 ) is an American author best known for creating the Sweet Valley series of novels. This is the required environmental issues book in the series ;p I think the message is a bit heavy-handed at times, feeling more like a lecture on green issues than a story book, but I can let that pass because the issues it deals with are important for kids to learn about. On a personal note, nice to see Bruce making his first proper appearance in SVK and I am all over him being dropped off at and picked up from the local park by a chauffeur in a limo :D
