The Witch's Grave (Ophelia & Abby Mystery #6)
A murderer, not magick, made Stephen disappear—and Ophelia might be next. The sheriff warns her and her grandmother Abby not to meddle, but after another shooting leaves them shaken the women can't help but get involved. A sinister stalker is slowly drawing closer to Ophelia, and she'll have to summon all her powers to prevent herself from ending up six feet under.
I have enjoyed every book in the Ophelia and Abby series and this one is no exception. Perhaps this one is even the best one so far. Ophelia and her grandmother Abby are both witches- good ones, that is, descended from Appalachian Mountain women who healed with plants and herbs. In this book Ophelia, the town librarian, meets Stephen, an author of true crime tell-all novels, at a fund raising function and is immediately smitten. However, a few minutes later Stephen is shot. Who was the target-
I didnt have much expectation from this instalment as I didnt quite enjoy the last one. However, I was proven wrong! I really enjoyed the little spin in this one which included Ophelias dreams of past life. The mystery itself was quite interesting which involved a fairly controversial topic these days in Australia (undocumented immigrants). Whilst this particular theme wasnt deeply explored, the twist to the mystery was unexpected. I read this book in one sitting; an easy read with a fascinating

Another Good OneThis series continues to captivate. The steady building of the character Ophelia is fascinating. The secondary characters are interesting. The stories continue to cover the gamut of paranormal experience.
Ophelia Jensen is a witch and a librarian. When she attends a library function, she meets a man to whom she finds an instant attraction. Her romance with Henrick, a Swedish diplomat, is questionable. He seems to be using the Nazis as a way to get rich instead of caring about what is happening to the
Very good story, great ending......
A fun easy read. Colourful characters make this series very enjoyable and they didn't disappoint in this the penultimate book in the series.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4I have enjoyed every book in the Ophelia and Abby series and this one is no exception.
