Rendition To Books Tirza

Write Up About Books Tirza
Ok, I get it that a lot of people consider this a literary masterpiece, because it is well-written with a lot of attention for the peculiar thoughts and relationships of the main character. Personally, however, I didn't like it. The story evolves so irritatingly slowly that it made me nervous. Each time I expected something to happen, nothing actually happened. I could also not relate to any of the characters and Hofmeester's ideas are depressing and sick. I suppose this is the type of book that

No no no no no no i cant help it but just no sorry no is no this is no but thanks

There is a law of physics that posits that everything that is in movement will try to stay moving. Once a ball rolls down a hill, it will require another external force, like a wall, or like friction, to stop it. I'm inclined to agree that there is little to nothing one can do against this impermeable force of change, but I also know that a lot of people will be different, and will actively resist this inherent dynamism in everything.Jörgen Hofmeester, for instance, the protagonist of this

I received a copy of "Tirza by Arnon Grunberg" from Open Letter Press in exchange for review.Jorgen Hofmeester is a father of two daughters and lives the life as a publisher and a landlord. Renting out the upstairs of his house to locals or travelers. After losing his first daughter to growing up and moving out. He has his last daughter left "Tirza" Throwing a going away party for his daughter takes a few unexpected turns, including his wife returning after 3 years of not being around. She tries

Wow. This book had me blown away. But only after at least 80% of the book. The beginning of the book was really boring and reptitive. How can you talk about someone making sushi for over 100 pages? But when the plot twist came, I was stunned. I did not see that coming. But, to get there, you first have to fight yourself through 85% of boring talk about sushi. I'm not sure if that's really worth it.

Finally done with this after 3 goddamn years. FREEDOOOOMSo the first maybe 380 pages of this book were a mix of boring and disgusting. Loooots of mentioning of sex, and a lot of it a little.... quesionable (eg. Banging a classmate of your daughters in your shed at the daughters party)Buuuut I gotta admit the last bit was surprising and quite good, like damn boi I didnt see that coming. It kinda makes me want to reread parts to see the foreshadowing, cause it was there and I know it wassss. So
