I was hoping to have a beautiful overview and introduction to Sufism from an insider and, if biased, scholar. Instead I had to sit and hear him complain about how everyone is misrepresenting Sufism and all his fights and politics, spare me. Wasnt impressed. The rest of the book was more anthologes and I didnt read through it.
