Verse for Ages
This book was originally printed for the families and friends of the authors. But I have now published as a tribute to Colleen Thatcher (deceased)and as her legacy to all poets, artists and writers.
I have now decided to sell this book for charity: namely for Sue Ryder, Duchess of Kent House, which is where Colleen died. All proceeds will go to them, because this is what Colleen would have wanted.

This is a very easy read. However, I do not see myself picking this back up.

As well as her poems and mine, it contains a few classics and some kindly donated by Martin Newell. If you think: 'ah, poetry is for elite, the bookish, the teachers, librarians, the literary princes"... then you need to read this book. These poems are what great poems should be simple, honest and raging with vitality. They speak to what everyone who has ever lived knows... joy, pain, love, loss, imagination and grief, and they do it understandably. You can almost feel it they are written from the truest and deepest feelings of authors hearts, sorrows, hopesIn one word outstanding! Truly an

To enable easy reading, each section is clearly headed with a title page and vignette, most attractively drawn by Linda Koperski who also designed the cover.
