Explanation Toward Books Disney's Storybook Collection

If you're looking for the Cliff Notes version of Disney movies to book, this is the book for you. The stories are fleshed out a little more than what takes place in the movies. Each page has a small graphic from the movie, which is a really nice touch.

Stories included in this collection: Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, Snow White, Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan, Pocahontas, Lady & The Tramp , Pinocchio, and a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head (there are 23 in total).

There are two more book collections. I am hoping that they include the newer Disney movies that we've all come to love.

All the stories summarized the movie they were based on but all of the stories could have been longer. They were all really short so they left out huge chunks of information in order to make the stories as short as possible. The pictures were all really good but there were a lot of pages that had pictures that

I don't normally have anything against Disney, but this book was crap. Alivia didn't like many of the stories, the English was horrible - did Disney not consider that a book for children should have good grammar? If you didn't know the movie in some of them you couldn't even follow the story. We won't be sucked into the mega-marketing-machine. We switched over to reading Alice in Wonderland instead.

I enjoyed this book. I like the combination of all the different types of Disney stories told in simpler terms to make it more understandable for children.

The Disney version of Cinderella is one of my favorites. It tells the story of a girl who loses her mother, and her father remarries a new wife. The stepmother and her two daughters take advantage of the girl, named Cinderella, making her do all of the chores and wait on them hand and foot. The stepmother is eager to have one of her daughters marry the prince who is looking for a wife. The daughters are to attend a fancy ball. Cinderella is technically not allowed to attend the ball, but with
