After the shocking ending of the first serial, I wasn't sure where Kaitlyn and Martin's story was going to lead. However, 'Heat' picks up right were 'Attraction' left off, so you won't be left hanging for long. In fact, this book featured one of the quickest resolutions to a big conflict that I've ever encountered. Elements of Chemistry continues to capture me and leave me begging for more. This series has Pennys signature wit and intelligence, but also offers a level of heat and chemistry that is unexpected, but super enjoyable. The first installment ended with a misunderstanding between Parker and Martin. So many times in books we are stuck in this land of misunderstandings and wasted time, I am so happy to report that Penny didnt waste anytime. I absolutely love how Penny has things progressively moving
