Commentary During Books Shadow of the Queen (Once Upon A Time #2)

The Evil Queen has, quite literally, captured the Huntsman's heart -- and now he's her slave. Based on the world of ABC's hit primetime series ONCE UPON A TIME, this is the never-before-told tale behind their twisted relationship -- and what happens when a good man is forced to do bad. When Regina cooks up yet another devious plan to capture Snow White -- this time by allying with a pack of power-hungry werewolves -- the Huntsman comes face-to-face with his past...and an independent spirit in Red Riding Hood that just may match his own. Can these two break free of the forces that bind them and save Snow White? When put to the test, where will the Huntsman's loyalties lie? Has the Evil Queen stolen his heart in more ways than one?

Criticism Containing Books Shadow of the Queen (Once Upon A Time #2)
I loved the story. Red Riding Hood and the Huntsman are some of my favorite characters, it was an absolute delight to get more of their backstory, as well as more about the wolf pack. I could just picture myself watching this on television. The change of artists every chapter made the reading experience all the more interesting, although some artists portrayed the characters more accurately than others. This is a definite must-read.

It was kind of hard to follow. I enjoyed it though and I enjoyed the further insight into Red and the Huntsman's relationship.

And yet again, I buy a comic from a TV show and it turns out to be from Marvel. And it turns out to be... meh.The preface says that you can read this book if you haven't read the show, it'll make you want to watch it!WRONGIf you haven't watched the show, you'll probably be confused as hell. I watched most seasons (except for the last one, when I watched a couple of the Frozen episodes and I just rage quit), so I know the story and the characters. And even I was a little bit confused. Since when

This was awful. This graphic novel is based on the tv show Once Upon a Time, and although I haven't seen any episodes of it yet this is supposed to be backstory so you can jump in without having seen the show. It's possible that fans of the show would like this a lot more than I did, but I can't imagine non-fans who enjoy graphic novels would like any part of this book.I have no problem with multiple artists working on a series, but I've never seen multiple artists working on one story arc. It

I just returned from the 2017 OUAT con in Whippany. Amazing experience. This graphic novel is beautifully and darkly done. It gives the story that is between the lines in the tv series. If you're a Oncer or a fan of graphic novels, I highly recommend...

I got bored with Once upon a Time a while back but when I saw this I got excited again but that was shortlived...the artwork is kinda awful and the story, meh...it was ok.
