This has been a roller coaster of emotions. I cried as much as, if not more than, the first book. It really was suspenseful, yet hilarious and lovely at the same time. I can't wait fot the third book!(And I can't wait to see Mr. Sinclaire again)

So so GOOD! I adored this book, it was the perfect mix of romance and suspens! Where is book 3? I need it

I enjoyed the second book in the series because it had an amazing mystery plot, where we got to actually play detectives, and it took us to Bath (that most Regency specific city in the whole of England!), amongst other fascinating developments!

What a rollercoaster of emotions, but still iconic.

I read the first book in this series when it came out (hence it not being on my Goodreads shelves because I'm only shelving 2020 reads and onward) and I liked it, but I will say I liked this one a bit more. I thought this book was good when I started reading it, but the last few chapters were really good. Solid read. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
