With a love for the other books in this series and their characters, I knew I had to read Lane's story. I went into Beautiful Broken Promises basically blind due to the vagueness of the synopsis, and I now know WHY the synopsis is so vague and am so happy it is. I wouldn't have missed the shock of what awaited me for anything. 5 ⭐This was a great series and Lanes book is is my favourite of the three.We get to know where Lane went when he had to go out of town and why. We find out why he was no longer a police officer and see a side of Lane that was never shown in the previous book. Lane was such a gentle giant to the people he loved but the complete opposite when he needed to protect them.
