Rendition In Pursuance Of Books Many Bloody Returns (Vampire Files #11.4 - Grave-Robbed)

Never-before-published vampire stories by Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Kelley Armstrong, and many others.

Suspenseful, surprising, sometimes dark, sometimes humorous-these all-new stories will ensure that readers never think of vampires (or birthdays) in quite the same way again.

In New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris's "Dracula Night," Sookie Stackhouse is the only human at the annual commemoration of Dracula's birth. But this year, the Prince of Darkness actually shows up-and finds Sookie to be a tasty-looking present.

New York Times bestselling author Jim Butcher's crime-solving wizard Harry Dresden, of the Dresden Files novels, heads to a role-playing party to give his vampire brother a birthday present in "It's My Birthday Too," only to discover there are some bloodthirsty party crashers who don't share their brotherly love.

In "Twilight," Cassandra DuCharme, who appeared in New York Times bestselling author Kelley Armstrong's Dime Store Magic, knows she has to kill to live as a vampire another year-but finds herself disturbingly disinterested in the hunt.

Plus ten more bloody good birthday stories that take the cake.

Evaluate Epithetical Books Many Bloody Returns (Vampire Files #11.4 - Grave-Robbed)
Dracula Night is book 4.1 in the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris. In this story, Sookie receives an invitation to Dracula Night at Fangtasia. (view spoiler)[Dracula Night is one of two nights celebrated by the undead. Dracula Night commenorates the birthday of the first of their kind. The affair is formal and Eric is beside himself excited that Dracula could show up at his event. Pam refers to him as Liness from Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Every year, Dracula attends one

Many Bloody Returns: Tales of Birthdays with Bite was an okay kind of book. I guess I'm into vampires..but not that into them? I don't know if that makes sense but I'm writing this review after several glasses of win (trust me the day called for it) so bear with me?Now this book had a bunch of short stories wrapped into this book. However, not all of them stuck out to me. I remember the Sookie Stackhouse one mostly because I've seen a couple of episodes of various seasons.. and also read some

1) Dracula Night by Charlaine Harris. What the heck is an 'Entergy bill'? I think she meant energy bill but still to see that in the very first story, first page was an major eye-blink moment. Playful and a bit ridiculous but a fun read. I have yet to read the Sookie Stackhouse novels but have seen the show so I kept seeing their faces but I struggled most with Eric how had a puppy dog quality in this story. Charlie Brown indeed!2) The Mournful Cry of Owls by Christopher GoldenWell written but a

Dracula Night is a short story in the Sookie Stackhouse series by popular American author, Charlaine Harris. Eric invites Sookie to celebrate Dracula Night at his nightclub, Fangtasia. Dress-code cocktail wear, so she buys a new dress, pink with sequins. Shes quite amazed at Erics almost groupie-like hope that Prince Dracula himself might grace their humble club, and consequently, his judgement is a little off. But Sookie has her finger on the pulse, and takes the necessary action, although this

What a letdown :( Craving more from Charlaine Harris I picked this one up because of the Sookie/Pam/Eric story. Unfortunately, even that wasn't as good as I expected. Without giving away specifics or spoilers, let me just say that at the climax of the story, Sookie acts very out of character. In fact, the vampires act out of character, too. Although I enjoyed the brief trip to Harris' Bon Temps and Shreveport, I was left feeling ripped off. I mean ~ I sort of enjoyed Harris' story because I

2 Stars: Fun short stories staring some of our favorite characters. Very entertaining.I didnt like the book. However, the characters were borderline from unlikable to a few exceptions the plot was a bit poor. The writing was poor at worst and bad at best. I developed some interest in the book but not enough to sustain me. If part of a series, at least one thing peeked my interest to continue. Even though the plot was uninteresting, not original or unique in any way and contained an overload of

I bought this for the Sookie Stackhouse novella. Ended up reading and liking most of them.
