Anne Frank: A Hidden Life
I did not like how much the author interposed her assessments of the situations and her suppositions. I'd much rather read straight expository facts without listening to the conjectures of another person. I didn't appreciate her assessments of the real-life people. I didn't want to hear her opinion! This is not a piece of informational text, but rather it has information that has been clouded by one woman's theorizing. :/

An informative and humbling view into the lives of the Frank family and all of those who risked their lives regularly to aid them.
This book is a biography of Anne Frank. Sadly this book is not award winning. In the stories we read about Anna frank we only see up until she is forced away to a concentration camp and we only learn her father is the only one left alive. In this book the story picks up with the woman who hid Anna and her family. I gave this book five stars because I love learning more history on Anne frank and because I felt this book was an eye opener as the who Anna was not just a little girl hiding out for
Ann Frank A Hidden Life by Mirjam Pressler was not the best book I have ever read but it was very interesting and full of facts. I would have wished to read more of the diary then the facts but you get what you get. There was an other book that was just her diary, I should have read that but I couldn't find it in time. I think that the facts were cool and actually reading a book about Ann Frank and learning something I didn't know about her was cool but just didn't Interest me enough.

Anne Frank: A Hidden Life was a very fast read and full of interesting facts and tidbits. It is a perfect book to help refresh your mind about Anne and her diary. Especially if you are going to teach The Diary of Anne Frank soon to eighth graders.
