No usage of the word 'sweetling' in this gem. It's as if the author received 000s of complaints from endearment snobs around the world following book 1 and 2. (There is justice after all)

Hayden is still creepy and Cain is becoming the most sappiest mush-lord of the underworld. Just your regular infallible, too smart for the FBI – lesbian mobster kingpin. It seems all butch mobsters are tall and dark, and their femme soulmates are tiny and fair haired. What are the odds? Notwithstanding all of the above, the interwoven plotlines and thrilling end has me seeking book 4.

I am not sure why Im still reading these.... For a lesbian romance series these books are really not so keen on women, it seems.

Ali Vali is the author of the long-running Cain Casey "Devil" series and the Genesis Clan "Forces" series, as well as numerous standalone romances including two Lambda Literary Award finalists, Calling the Dead and Love Match, and her 2017 release, Beauty and the Boss. Ali also has a novella in the collection Girls with Guns.Originally from Cuba, Ali has retained much of her family's traditions

This series is a page turner if you like honorable "bad guys", questionable "good guys", intense and passionate love scenes, devoted protectors and a main character that you love to cheer for. At the beginning, I did not think this was the type of story I would enjoy but go figure, I am hooked.

I loved this book.Great series by Ali Vali. The addition of Remi and Dallas to the action really helps. The friendship of all the women really adds to the quality of the book.

This series has a way of pulling you in and making you forget about everything else. Cain Casey is a mastermind with a heart of gold. Cain and Emmas relationship is absolutely beautiful. When you add Remi and Dallas to the mix my heart explodes with wonderful feelings. My heart hurts for Dallas. Remi is just what her heart was looking for and she is just the knight she needs to get ride of the asshole taking advantage of her. I love the friendship between Cain and Remi that starts to take form

Entertaining.

And this page-turning saga continues. Cain is still NOLA's smoothest crime boss. The Devil Unleashed was mushier than this one; however, towards the end of Deal with the Devil, I could feel how much Emma means to to Cain. Dallas and Remi's relationship is a lite version of Emma and Cain's relationship. The major differences being Dallas comes with heavier baggage, and it took the Casey's a year to consummate their relationship versus a week or two for Remi and Dallas. And to Jimmy Pitre, Anthony
