Actually better than I thought it would be. A bit slow to start but enjoyed the story as it developed.

What a lovely tale! Its definitely a delightful last book to the Backwoods Brides series! I was a little surprised by the depth to it a strange but beautiful little boy who never talks but is obsessed with rocks of all kinds. A compassionate, good-hearted governess who loves the boy despite his abnormalities. An avid treasure hunter, who sports a tragic past and odd hair.
