Interpretation To Books Mononoke (manga)

A 19 chapter manga adaption of the original Bakeneko arc.

A spin-off of 2006's horror anthology series Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, Mononoke follows the character of the medicine seller as he continues to face myriad supernatural perils.

Mononoke takes place during the Edo Period Japan with the four class system, Samurai being the highest class and merchants (such as the medicine seller himself) being in the lowest class. Only Samurai were permitted to carry swords, which is why it comes as a shock to many of the characters that the medicine seller would be carrying a sword.

Write-Up Of Books Mononoke (manga)
For once I think the anime was better than the manga. This is just one story, one in which a cat mononoke haunts a feudal house and destroys a wedding. This is actually referenced in the anime I believe. It was pretty good, I mean it was how you would expect an episode of the anime to play out, but it didnt bring anything new or different to the table with the manga medium, besides a few interestingly stylized panels.

this one always on top of my favorite list

will always be one of the favourites to re-read, to re-watch. lovely, lovely art. lovely ugly people. the story is the focal point and the main character the background. also, one wil come to the conclusion that it is never wise to piss off cats.

Feels like Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Even the apothecary's robes resemble Sandman's.

For once the anime was 100x better here welp. I was kinda disappointed...

It is an amazing manga adaption of my favorite anime.
