Abandon can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first three books in the Shattered Heart series before you read this book. In those first three books you will have the base history between Tristan/Senia and Claire/Chris.The Shattered Heart Series is one of my favorites. The moment I read Relentless, Cassia Leo had sucked me in. I didnt think any of her books would top Chris and Claire but boy was I wrong! Abandon just became my number one book of hers and I absolutely LOVE

While my surprise at falling in absolute love and lust with Tristan during the reading of "Abandon" still delights me; I'm just shaking my head laughing thinking how it could have gone given my expectations of him.
