Interpretation Supposing Books The Housemate
Menacing!
That’s the word to describe this book
When I read the title and the blurb I kinda imagined I knew all what this book would hold and how it would ‘pan out’, suffice to say I was wrong!
Yes there are elements of ‘Single White Female’ in the book but it is more, so much more than I imagined
Another of those books where I am
wary to say too much in case give anything away but it safe to say this.....Megan, Chloe and Samantha who share a house together will rue the day they decided to...all 3 main players are superbly cast and you will make
assumptions as I did and be led very neatly down the ‘garden path’ but keep your mind open and be aware....things are never as they seem
The story goes back in time for one of the 3 ( again YOU need to find out who ) and they have a shocking childhood and there is violent as well as psychologically disturbing scenes to be aware of ( not too many , the fear of what is going to happen is often left at that ) and also worth mentioning there is a scene with a cat that I avoided once was aware of it,again only a few lines but again worth telling you about, both things I have mentioned are a small ish but pertinent inclusion in the book that makes the bigger picture more understandable
I am not a fan of the word ‘riveted’ but this book had me so and it went from strength to strength and ended up as unexpected as I could have imagined when I started it
Very well told and a book that will leave you with goosebumps when you come to the final sentence......

I thought this book was good but it was a bit of hit and miss for me. It was quite slow and not very entertaining. None of the characters stood out for me that well and it had no real twist or anything exciting happening. It was well written and I think the best bits were the ones from the past. Its an easy read but not so great if you like thrillers with more happening. What a thrilling book! The Housemate is twisty and features an unreliable narrator, one of my favourite things in psychological thrillers! But who is it? Let's see if you can figure it out faster than I did! I love books that make me suspect every single character, which don't allow me to trust any of them whatsoever. The Housemate is one of those books. With captivating characters and a rapid pace, I lost sleep so I could race to the end.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher Headline for an e-copy in exchange for an honest review. When two best friends, Chloe and Megan find the perfect house to rent, but can't afford the high rental they agree to take on a 3rd housemate, Sammi. Sammi has a great job, she's smart and sophisticated, and loves cooking! Chloe and Megan hastily decide she's the one. Things get off to a great start, but Sammi isn't forthcoming with information about her past, she doesn't have many friends, and doesn't

I so enjoyed this book quite sad 1 girl will do anything to have a best friend but witch one. one had a horrible childhood but witch one I figured it out half way I can so recommend this book very gripping must read

I really enjoyed this twisty page-turner. Told from three different perspectives, its about two friends who think theyve found the perfect housemate. But before long, weird things keep happening that leave them fearing for their safety and even questioning their sanity. A creeping tension builds steadily throughout the book until a shocking tragedy occurs and the truth about the women's mysterious new housemate is finally revealed. About two-thirds of the way through the book, I was convinced I
When I started reading "The Housemate," I was excited to dive in and get going. Good psychological thrillers can be hard to come by; some are written too simply for the twists to be effective while others try too hard and leave you with an ending so complicated you never could have guessed it. This book found the perfect balance. It keeps you guessing with the differing viewpoints, but at the end of it all the ending we are left with is logical and satisfying. There are three different narrators
