Ilustration Toward Books The Last to Know

Quite interesting but ultimately unsatisfying — not because the lack of a real explanation for characters’ actions, since isn’t that like real life? But because of the over-introversion and lack of self awareness or empathy. The big revelation that to act selfishly might mean one is selfish? I couldn’t care enough about the characters so was left feeling empty and disappointed at the end. Some nice writing and interesting questions poised but not enough for me to really care.

Weigh Up Epithetical Books The Last to Know
This book was unusual in that it deals with a husband nipping out to buy ice-cream, then making the momentous decision not to bother going home! Then we read the book from his eyes and his wife's..He annoyed me with his selfishness, yet you could feel how trapped he obviously felt.I empathise with her obvisouly, being a woman, but sometimes she annoyed me too..It was a good read - ideal for taking on holiday so you can read it undisturbed!

I think everyone has probably at some time or other wondered what it would be like to disappear to be someone else - this book, in a simple way, makes you think a little more about disappearing and about the consequences it would have on you and those around you - I really enjoyed this book, the subject matter was different and good, it was simply written and simply told but it got right under my skin, I couldn't wait to find out how it turned out and couldn't put it down once I got into it -
