For those who like to read Scott Mariani, for example... Or who like Harold Robbins and Sidney Sheldon... :)

Pretty average detective story. Starts up nice..dwindles down to...(I heard the author said there are more parts to it) so I can't be a judge if there is #2 book.

Well, I quite enjoyed this to start with but for some reason during perhaps the last third of the book I began to lose interest...not sure why. Despite that, the characters, Tom & Jennifer were engaging enough & Tom is obviously destined to reappear in a sequel - I'll buy & read it if I come across it but won't be making a special effort to hunt it down.

This book concerns the heist of gold double eagles from Fort Lnoc and some subplots. The book started out as a page turner but toward the end I was bored. I think it was drawn out too much and the story line could have been wrapped up much sooner.

A great premise, with excellent pacing and delightful plot cannot overcome some of the most cardboard characters in recent memory. Even worse, the main characters talk about how easily everything is falling in to place to solve the mystery and that maybe they are not looking deep enough. Then, they don't follow up and predictably, they should have dug deeper. In Paris, a priest is murdered, his mutilated body dumped into the Seine. He has taken a secret with him to his death -- a secret that is

pretty decent thriller with a standard lead character. will likely read more of his books. Good filler between non-action books!

Lots of actionThis story spans the world in action, boggles the mind in double, double crosses, and pits two agents against their own government s agencies in an effort to survive. Of course, the good guys prevail, but everyone else is suspect. Enjoy!
