LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. This book is incredible, especially because I too am a rural girl - not as much as this, but it still has a few factors that I live with too. I love how they have the 'sleepover' at the creek I was just thinking in my head 'AHHH!!' And then 'wow.' when Nate's grandfather slapped her :OVERY VERY VERY VERY VERY GOOD BOOK. And it won't take you AGES to read, this is like a casual one weekened which is good if you're busy with school, etc and you want some good quality chick flick

I love rereading this book every year, however, this time I had a small issue with one of the things that was said. But I have loved this book for so long now that the nostalgia definitely determined my rating on this one.

Quick easy read that reminded me why I loved girlfriend fiction books in the past. Bookmark days tells the story of Avril Staton, a country girl whose family has had a long fued with the Carringtons next door. Enter Nathaniel Carrington and Avril begins to fall for him, even though their families are sworn enemies. This was a nice book; based in the country, a nice country lifestyle. It is great in the fact that it could relate to any teenage girls life, like any other girlfriend fiction book. I found this book addictive and un-put-downable.
